Warehouse 2 became operational in January 2010. However, after only a few months, the economic growth of Naturata Logistik eG required capacity expansion in terms of storage volumes.
The warehouse of a neighbouring company with a total storage area of 4,000 m² and side rooms was purchased in 2012. There, it was possible to create adequate shelf space as well as large loading areas. There is therefore now enough storage space for growth with regard to existing and new customers. 3 halls offer a total storage space of 7,000 m², which is managed from a modern EDP system.
A solar plant of 150 kWp has been erected on the hall roof.
Since February 2024, an additional hall (Hall 4) is also available to us.
The construction of a further hall is planned.
Due to the growing demand, it was decided to commission a fourth logistics unit, to provide an additional 3000 pallet spaces. The entire storage area currently covers 10,000 square metres. The costs for the new unit amounted to about 3mil. euros, and the construction period was 8 months. In June 2017, the official handover of keys took place. The unit in fact began operation some time before this.
